Statement of Suitability as Commissioner
I was a delegate to the TNNAC Convention and am very concerned about the problems of Native American Indians in this state and have worked for many years with Native American Indians in Tennessee. I am not Indian, but my family is. My wife Sally of 39 years is from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw. We have two children and two grandchildren – what affects the Indian population of Tennessee affects me and my family directly.
